Seniors

A promise is a promise. I support maintaining our existing social security system for all seniors. I support preservation of existing medical benefits for current and soon to be retirees. 

The greatest single threat to the economic status of seniors, however, is loss of purchasing power of retirement accounts and social security caused by massive deficit spending. 

For this reason I support efforts to achieve a balanced budget, including immediate cuts in military interventionist spending, failed drug war costs, and corporate bailouts.
